Booking Conditions

We want your experience to be seamless from start to finish. These terms ensure we’re always on the same page

Deposit Payments
Full pre-payment will be processed within 14 days of arrival. Deposit payments are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other dates.

Your reservation will be cancelled if the deposit payment is not settled.

Changes to Your Booking
Reservations can be ammended or cancelled providing the visit date is not within 14 days of arrival. Rates and availability of the revised dates will apply.

Reservation dates cannot be changed when within 14 days of arrival.

Delivery of Service
Once a booking is confirmed to the guest, our contract for the delivery of all services then exists only between Holbeck Ghyll Estate Limited and the person or entity making the payment. The company accepts no liability whatsoever to any other third party other then the person or entity from whom payment for the reservation was first received

Changes to our Website
The Hotel cannot accept responsibility in errors or omissions and reserve the right to cancel, amend or vary details featured on their website without notice. The information contained in this website. The use of any information from the website is entirely at the risk of the user. The Hotel will not be liable for any costs, losses, expenses or damages (without direct or indirect, special, economic or financial) that may be incurred through the use of any information in this website or in any other website linked to this website

Special Requests
We try and accommodate requests however this is not guaranteed. Special requests do not form part of our contract.

Additional Guests
Your reservation must reflect the actual number of guests visiting. Should you arrive with more guests than stated, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund. This is due to health and safety regulations etc.

Visiting with Dogs
If you are visiting with dogs, a £75 per dog damage deposit is required. This will be refunded after checkout providing the room has been returned in a undamaged condition. The owner of the booking is responsible for settling charges in the event of any damage.

If you arrive with dogs and have not informed us in advance, you will be asked to settle the damage deposit to continue your stay. Failure to comply will result in termination of your visit without refund.

If We Cancel Your Stay
In the very unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your stay, your deposit will be refunded in full or you will be given the option to move to an alternative date. Refunds will not be issued for events occuring outside the control of the hotel (pandemics, travel disruptions, acts of God etc).

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend arranging travel insurance for your visit should unexpected events prevent you from visiting. The hotel does not offer this service. We also recommend settling your deposit via credit card for added security.
